
Active Ingredient: Enrofloxacin.
Description: This product is an off-white powder.
Pharmacological Action: A fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent. It binds to subunit A of bacterial DNA gyrase, inhibiting the enzyme's cutting and joining functions, preventing bacterial DNA replication, and thus exerting an antibacterial effect. It kills Gram-negative bacteria and inhibits Gram-positive bacteria.
Indications: Fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent used in aquaculture to treat bacterial infections including hemorrhagic septicemia, gill rot, print disease, enteritis, red fin disease, and Edwardsiellosis.
Dosage and Administration: Based on this product. Mix with feed: 100-200 mg per 1 kg body weight (equivalent to 2.0-4.0 g per 1 kg of feed at 5% feeding rate), once daily for 5-7 consecutive days.
Adverse Reactions:
1. May cause spinal lesions and affect cartilage growth in young animals.
2. May cause digestive system adverse reactions.
Precautions:
1. Avoid simultaneous oral administration with substances containing cations (Al³⁺, Mg²⁺, Ca²⁺, Fe²⁺, Zn²⁺).
2. Avoid compatibility with drugs that have antagonistic effects such as tetracyclines, rifampicin, thiamphenicol, and florfenicol.
3. Mix uniformly with feed before feeding.
Withdrawal Period: 500 degree-days.
